My Fellow Americans……..

I haven’t written in a while because I have been floored by what is occuring in our country.  As wonderful as the Olympics were in uniting us as a unit, we return to in-fighting and finger pointing.  All I can say is that they are politicians; they will say whatever is needed.  However, to have a 16 year old posting death threats through Twitter and not know it is a federal offense, is an offense created by her parents.  I have nothing more on the subject than these words:

Dear Friends: I just want the election to be over.  I don’t care who you vote for, just vote.  i don’t care who you hate, just don’t post it.  I don’t care how you act with your friends, I care how you act with me. I too served my country as an officer and an enlisted soldier, and have known the true meaning of fear.  Ffearing each other is not our way.

Be good to one another, because in the end, we are all in this together.
