Creating Memorable Characters: Girl Crushing on Fish Mooney
It is hard to turn on the television and find a character that is so flawed, so nuanced that she is almost perfect. These roles are equally difficult to come by for women, without painting them as scheming, money hungry witches who wants the big man so they can spend his money and live a life of luxury.
Enter Fish Mooney.
She wants to be in control because she is evil and power hungry. She doesn’t do it to be on the arm of some man, but she will take off a man’s arm.
I think I am in love.

I have been so busy writing I forgot to come over and share a few thoughts with you.
The other day I was trying to explain to a fellow writer the importance of having a marketing strategy with each book launch. For some odd reason, the only thing she could focus on was the Twitter campaign and the accompanying Twitter Party. I will admit that was cool.
However, my question is, was and remains unanswered still is, how do you measure the effectiveness of the Twitter ads?
She tried to explain it to me and failed miserably.
This came to mind as I listened to her explanation.
