Jamie Foxx Returns with Sleepless in 2017
Jamie Foxx returns on February 24, 2017 with a remake of a remake of the French thriller Nuit Blanche. The movie will costar rapper T.I. and Gabrielle Union who is also making her return to the silver screen.
Sleepless stars Foxx as undercover Las Vegas police officer Vincent Downs, who is caught in a high stakes web of corrupt cops and the mob-controlled casino underground. When a heist goes wrong, a crew of homicidal gangsters kidnaps Downs’ teenage son. In one sleepless night he will have to rescue his son, evade an internal affairs investigation and bring the kidnappers to justice.
Directed by Baran Bo Odar and written by Andrea Berloff, the film also features best book boyfriend Dermot Mulroney (The Grey, Mozart in the Jungle), Scoot McNairy (Batman Vs Superman, Argo) and David Harbour (Suicide Squad, End Of Watch).
Movie watching is getting good again.
