Weight loss and physical fitness are both lifestyle choices. It is a way of life that requires a commitment. You don’t have to be crazed and obsessed to be healthy and fit. You are only required to be conscious of your body and your physical limitations,. Let’s face it, you didn’t gain the weight overnight, and you are not going to lose it overnight.
Today’s task is to understand what you can do. It is time to get on the floor and stretch- yes stretch. This is the only way to truly measure how far and how flexible you are.
I attempted to do a yoga stretch class last week, and I’m not that flexible any more. And my muscles complained that they no longer liked me. I also came to the realization that my core was weak and needed to be strengthened.
Let’s test your core strength. I need you to do a plank. Count the number of second you can hold it. If you can not hold it for more than 20 seconds without shaking, we have some work to do.
