I am an Army Brat and my first real home was in LR, AR, I only remember snapshots of the day we moved in I was very sick with a high fever, my Mom had put me on the floor (I can remember the ticking of the mattress) while the movers were constantly coming and going. She called a pediatrician and luckily he made house calls-he couldn’t bring down my fever and my parents made a run to the ER where I got an alcohol bath and my fever was brought down. I had a monster case of tonsillitis.
